7-year-old child lived with right axilla and elbow burn scars tethering her arm tightly to her torso.
Before surgery
Axillary and elbow webbing. Scar bands across the elbow or armpit stop the arm from straightening or lifting fully.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Soni Burn Hospital in Hisar, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
