Rigid thumb and 4-digit flexion. Burn scars that tighten across the fingers and palm make it hard to grip, write or work.
The surgery
The surgery was done at GS Memorial Hospital in Varanasi, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
