2.5-year-old toddler lived with burn contractures binding his left hand and wrist, preventing early childhood play.
Before surgery
Left hand and wrist scarring. Burn scars that tighten across the fingers and palm make it hard to grip, write or work.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Amish Hospital in Vadodara, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
