5-year-old boy lived with multi-hand burns locking his left thumb web and right fingers into contractures.
Before surgery
Multi-site digital contractures. Burn scars that tighten across the fingers and palm make it hard to grip, write or work.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Soni Hospital in Panipat, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
