7-year-old girl lived with perineal contractures that restricted her posture, daily hygiene, and normal movement.

Perineal scar rigidity. Scars that tighten across a joint or a body fold limit everyday movement.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
After surgery
Complete mobility and functional release.
