19-year-old girl lived with post-burn contractures binding her neck and left axilla into immobility.
Before surgery
Rigid neck and left axilla webbing. Scars that tighten across the face and neck pull at the skin and limit everyday movement.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Soni Burn Hospital in Hisar, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
