22-year-old young woman lived with contractures across her neck, lower face, and axilla following an electrical burn.
Before surgery
Neck and axillary banding. Scars that tighten across the face and neck pull at the skin and limit everyday movement.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Amish Hospital in Vadodara, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
