8-year-old boy had his left ring finger locked into a fixed flexion deformity by rigid post-burn scars.
Before surgery
Rigid ring finger flexion tethering. Burn scars that tighten across the fingers and palm make it hard to grip, write or work.
The surgery
The surgery was done at Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar, a BHF partner hospital. BHF funded it in full, at no cost to the family.
